A Bill further to amend the Companies Act, 1956.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title and commencement
1.(1) This Act may be called the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2006.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act.Amendment of section 253"
